CLEAVING BY ABIDING

Abide in me and I in you, As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me (Matthew 15:4)

God wants us to abide in Christ Jesus so that we can bring forth the fruit of an abundant life.  It is through this abiding, this cleaving process that we can do all things through Christ Jesus.  If we separate ourselves from Christ we can do nothing.  Today, let us cleave to Christ Jesus the true vine and enjoy the work of the Spirit in our lives.
