TASTE AND SEE

“O taste and see that the LORD is good, blessed is the man that trusteth in him” (Psalm 34:8).

In this Psalm of David, David implores Israel to taste and see that the Lord is good.  I recall a church I attended when I was newly married where they sang a song with lyrics:  Have you tried Jesus?  Indeed we are to have experiences with Jesus where we can confirm that he is good; he is faithful; he provides.

Today, let us have an experience with God.  Let us rely on God, and through prayer let us make supplications for our needs and the needs of our friends-- and then let us watch God work.
