LEAD ME INTO THE LAND OF UPRIGHTNESS

 A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant. PSALM 143

MINISTRY AS BEAUTY

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. MATTHEW 5:16

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. TITUS 3:8

And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

TITUS 3:14

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. JAMES 3:13

Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. I PETER 2:12

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! ROMANS 10:15

A DIADEM OF BEAUTY-- INSTEAD OF THE CROWN OF PRIDE

In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people.  ISAIAH 28:5

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! ISAIAH 28:1

And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids. ZECHARIAH 9:16, 17

BEAUTY FOR ALL SEASONS

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.PSALM 48:2

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. ECCLESIASTES 3:11

Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. SONG OF SOLOMON 6:4
