TURNING THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN
And when they found them not, they drew Jason and
certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying,
These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also:
Whom Jason hath received: and these all do all contrary to the
decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king,
One Jesus. Acts 17:6,7
It was Apostle Paul's manner to go into the synogogues as he travelled and teach and preach the word of God. He and the other disciples made it their business to preach Jesus, the one and only King. Because of their preaching, they were considered trouble-makers. Indeed, the preaching of salvation in Jesus Christ alone will turn the world upside down. Jesus shakes false foundations, removing them. For Jesus is the only Solid Rock worthy to be built upon. Your life built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ will never fail or perish.
Today, let us get busy turning the world upside down through the preaching of JESUS!

FIRE RESERVED FOR UNGODLY MEN
IN THE BEGINNING...THE WORD
DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY, OCTOBER 26, 2011
FIRE RESERVED FOR UNGODLY MEN
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word
are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment
and perdition of ungodly men.
2Peter 3:7
God is keeping the heavens and the earth in a preservative state--until
the day of judgment. God is also keeping ungodly men--until the day of judgment.
These ungodly men are being set apart with hell fire, and at the day of judgment
the heavens and the earth will be sentenced with them. This day of judgment
will come as a thief in the night; the Scriptures tell us that the heavens will pass away,
and the earth will be burned up with these ungodly men(read 2Peter,chapter 3).
Today, Let us be found in peace, without spot, and blameless.

IN THE BEGINNING...THE WORD
DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY, OCTOBER 17, 2011
THE ARM OF FLESH
Thus saith the LORD, Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Jeremiah 17:5
In these end times, it is ever so important to place our hope and reliance upon God.
The arm of flesh will fail you and utterly confound you.

THE ART OF KEEPING
IN THE BEGINNING...THE WORD
DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY, OCTOBER 13, 2011
THE ART OF KEEPING
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Psalm 121:6
Keeping is a fine art which requires diligence and commitment. Anyone who has ever attempted to keep the house knows the great amount of work it takes to keep everything in its place--counters clear, closets orderly, floors clean and polished. It is an ongoing task. Well, in the same way, God keeps us. He provides for our needs, constantly protects and cherished us.
Today, let us keep our hearts and our homes as we remember our Lord--the great keeper.

IS GOD AT HOME IN YOU?
IN THE BEGINNING...THE WORD
DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY, OCTOBER 10, 2011
IS GOD AT HOME IN YOU?
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;
and my Father will love him, and we will come to him
and make our home with him."
John 14:23
God wants to dwell with us and to be at home in us.
But we must keep His word in our hearts. By meditating on the
Scriptures, we allow the word to take root in us. The word
washes us as well as perfects us.
Today, let us make our hearts a blessed home for God by being
diligent keepers of His word.

IN THE BEGINNING...THE WORD
DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY, OCTOBER 5, 2011
IRON SHARPENETH IRON
Iron SHARPENETH iron; so a man SHARPENETH the countenance of his friends.
Proverbs 27:17
Amazingly, we have a powerful effect upon those in close contact. In fact, our countenance has the ability to sharpen their countenance. As we speak the "good report" and as we determine to reflect Christ--being as the sun when he goeth forth in his might--we shall sharpen our friends and family.
Today, let us regard Christ as he works in and through us to sharpen our friends and family.

IN THE BEGINNING ...THE WORD
DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY, OCTOBER 2,2011
O JERUSALEM
I was glad when they said unto me, "Let us go into the house of the LORD." Our feet shall stand within thy gates,O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
